I love to wear “Barb Garwood” jewelry!

I am not a big jewelry person, and truly just about the only jewelry I own and wear is Barb Garwood’s. Barb is my college roommate and was a maid of honor in my wedding… many years ago! My first introduction to her jewelry at our college reunion, which is a story in itself, that I will save for another time.

Wearing Barbara Garwood Contest - Deb with Paul Martinelli

Deb with Paul Martinelli at a Bob Proctor Seminar Cruise

The first picture was taken on Bob Proctor’s Cruise in October 2008. There I am with Paul Martinelli, a featured speaker. It was a working cruise for me, so it was important that I look my best. I actually bought this outfit because it complimented the necklace!

This was the day after the ship stopped at Grand Cayman Island. A number of people asked if I had gotten my necklace on the island. That made my day!, actually !!! So many people complimented me on the necklace & how well it matched my outfit and told me they LOVED it.

Why I love wearing Barb Garwood is that her jewelry in unique, more like artwork, hence the name. Even though I receive compliments each time I wear it, just knowing that I look put together and have unique jewelry on that is greatly admired, helps me to project confidence and assurance in as recruit, train, speak and direct a large sales force.

Wearing Barbara Garwood Contest - Deb with oldest son on graduation day

Deb with son Joe on graduation day!

The next picture is with my oldest son, Joe at his Master’s graduation two months later in Miami, Florida. As a very proud mom, I wanted to look my best, so remembering all the compliments I received on the cruise, I decided on the same outfit … with the same Barb Garwood jewelry. Again, I was the recipient of several complements on Barb’s jewelry. The funny thing is, many guess (incorrectly) that it is very expensive jewelry. There is such intricacy and detail that is typically not found today. It’s (almost) lost art, and art is truly what this jewelry is about. It’s an expression of me, a unique human being.

Thanks so much!
